After-the-wedding portraits in St Mawes, Cornwall

This gorgeous couple live and work in St Mawes, Cornwall. They love this beautiful part of Cornwall and it is their home, but when they got married they did it back in Lithuania where all their families are. They contacted me to see if they could get some photos together here, once they returned.

The late afternoon was a touch chilly but the skies were clear. Lukasz couldn’t find his shoes so they ended up arriving a bit later than scheduled (in trainers), and slightly flustered! Betty looked stunning though and despite the stressful start, we soon eased into the session and it was great!

St Mawes is such a romantic location. It’s quaint, timeless, pretty, and there is something so relaxing about spending time there, particularly this time of day. I love the sounds of the lapping waves, cries of the gulls, and chugging of boat motors echoing over the bay - and occasionally the squeals of children jumping off the harbour wall into the sea if the tide is high enough.

I’ve never been to Lithuania but I don’t blame Betty and Lukasz wanting some special wedding photos taken here. I thought it was a brilliant idea!!

For a session like this, or anything out of the ordinary, contact me - I’d love to help you!
