Where are you based?
My studio is in Grampound, Cornwall - between Truro & St Austell. This is where most of my newborn sessions and baby photo shoots happen. Sessions for larger families are usually held on location, and outdoor session are an option for maternity & baby photoshoots too.
Where Do you do outdoor sessions?
Outdoor photoshoots are usually on the Roseland Peninsula, or within 10 miles from Grampound, but if you have a location in mind not in this area, get in touch to check travel charges and availability!
How far in advance should we book?
I only have a couple slots available per week so it’s best to book as soon as you’re ready to commit to avoid disappointment.
Newborn bookings are taken well in advance of your due date so that I keep some time free in my schedule to fit you in once baby arrives. For things like first birthday sessions I’d advise booking it in a couple of weeks before so that we have time to prep and order your cake etc.
How do we know if you’re the right photographer for us?
Great question! I’m passionate about capturing authentic connections and emotions, without needing anyone to be something they’re just NOT during a session. I don’t need you all to look at the camera and there are no expectations for anyone to perform or ‘behave’ a certain way.
My focus is capturing character, and moments of connection (if they happen) in the best light rather than formal ‘looking at the camera’ photos.
Why do you charge a session fee?
I charge a session fee so that our time together is covered, guaranteeing that you will never feel pushed or pressured into buying anything afterwards.
Do you offer other products apart from digital files?
Absolutely! I am passionate about offering a full service and love providing beautiful and unique prints and wall display products. This is a really valuable service that helps you get the best value for your investment.
I want to book - what do I do?
Just get in touch via the contact form and give me some details about what’s made you look for a photographer and why you think I could be the one for you.
To secure your slot I’ll send an invoice for the session fee and a contract and then we can start planning the details. Exciting!!
What should we wear?
This is an important ingredient in the look of your photos. Don’t worry, prior to your shoot we can discuss outfits and styling in detail, and I am here to help as much as you need me to.
I have a selection of clothing in my client wardrobe that is in line with my style and I know photographs well. This is FREE to borrow from, so please do take advantage!! Here are some further tips on what to wear to your photoshoot.
I’m excited to see my photos! When will they be ready?
I’m SO excited to show them to you! You can have a sneak peek on Social Media as I edit if you like, and within 2 weeks of your session we’ll meet again for your viewing & odering session. You’ll be able to see your photos and purchase your collection/products then.
I care about your moments and make sessions as comfortable as possible, so you can relax knowing that you’re in good hands. What’s important is that you love the style of photos that I create and resonate with how I approach my work!
