Lockdown Photo Challenge #2 - Phone face

 

I don’t know about you, but after several weeks of lockdown the novelty has completely worn off. Tempers are flaring, boredom is setting in.

So I’m giving myself new things to do and I’d love it if you joined me. If you like taking photos and fancy doing mini photo shoots for yourself, give these a go and post your results either on Facebook or Instagram, and be sure to tag me in @curiouscreaturesphotography!

Challenge #2: Phone face

This one is super quick and easy, and actually fun for older kids too - bonus!

All you’ll need is:

A child - old enough to follow instructions,
A phone with a camera,
A second camera/phone camera

This is what you need to do:

  1. Grab your child and your phone. Ask them to face the window and take a close up of their eyes, (or mouth!)

  2. Find the photo in your camera roll and zoom in so the facial feature fills the screen.

  3. Ask your child to hold the phone with the photo up to their eyes/mouth. They can hold it slightly forward for funny effects.

  4. Take photos with the second phone or your camera.

That is literally it. My unwilling son let me take about 4 shots so I didn’t get to play with it too much, but I’ve seen some fantastic ones with tongues sticking out, which I might have to give a go again soon.

Now you can edit your best one, or send your best one to me and I’ll be happy to give it a quick edit, and you’re done! Post on FB or Insa and be sure to tag me so I can see what you got!
