Autumn mini session photos at Ruan Lanihorne, Cornwall

I took the kids to the countryside in Ruan Lanihorne on Sunday afternoon with their wellie boots to have a walk and inevitable splash in all the puddles at the location I’ve picked for this year’s Autumn mini sessions.

Great reasons to visit Ruan Lanihorne:

  1. It's easy to get to - not far off the A3078 just past Tregony.  And the drive is gorgeous!

  2. The flat wetland of the Fal at this place is so atmospheric and unusual.  It's a wide flat valley full of reads and water birds, which then narrows to my third favourite thing:

  3. The stone bridge.  It's a gorgeous backdrop!

  4. It's peaceful and quiet.  Although a popular spot for dog walkers, walkers and cyclists, it never feels too busy and you always have the feeling you're somewhere special.

  5. You can walk for miles from here, past the bridge and along a quiet country road through woodlands.  I've taken lots of lovely drives, exploring the area towards Saint Michael Penkevil, and it's always delightful!

So these are my boys, doing their crazy things and being adorable at the same time :)

If you love the idea of having a photo shoot here, where you and your children can explore this magical location, get in touch and book your session.
