Pregnancy, Newborn & 1st Birthday Photoshoot

It was so magical to witness the journey this couple took from pregnancy to when they celebrated their baby boy’s first birthday.

The memory of their maternity beach photoshoot is still clear - it was a chilly afternoon at Pendower Beach, with their dog Reggie. They were such a gorgeous happy couple, and when we met a couple of months later with their newborn baby boy, Kody, it was awesome capturing that time for them. They were so nervous and how much I could empathise with that sense of not knowing what you’re doing when you have a baby!

Meeting up again 12 months later for Kody’s first birthday was brilliant and it was just amazing to see what confident and great parents they were.

That first year is such a roller coaster ride, and reaching the big first birthday milestone is a bittersweet moment for most.

Kody was brilliant - loving every moment of his cake smash session.

During the first year of babyhood there are so many things going on but it’s so worth booking a bump to baby photography package and having some of the wonderfulness captured! It really does go by in a flash, and every second is so full of beauty.
